Listed below are some things to be aware of as we get closer to the event.

We ask that captains (and any other members who care to join us) at 5:30 p.m. on October 3rd at The Presbyterian Community Center at 1228 Jamison Ave SE, Roanoke, VA for an informational meeting. At that meeting, we would like to get team members’ t-shirt sizes and completed waivers turned in. Waivers will be available on the website or sent to you by email.
We encourage you to encourage team mates to solicit donations for your team. There is a minimum of $1,000.00 needed to pull the train. People who want to donate to your team can either send a check to the PCC with your team name on the memo line or give through the website by hitting DONATE, The TEAM, pick your team, Donate and then complete the info. Money needs to be raised by September 29th. A separate “champion fundraiser” trophy will be given to the team that raises the most money!
Are you a church team asking members to contribute checks? If so, make sure your church treasurer knows about this event and they have made arrangements to get all money for the Train Tug received in the church office to the PCC by the cut-off date of September 29th.
